How much does the world’s most expensive bottle of liquor cost?
A whopping US $255,000! The picture shows a bottle of
tequila in solid platinum and white gold which was unveiled in
Mexico City on October 26, 2006. This bottle of liquor was
purchased by a private collector on July 20, 2006.
As a result of this sale, the Tequila Ley .925 company broke
the Guinness World Records for the most expensive bottle of liquor sold.
Tequila Ley CEO Fernando Altamirano said he was
applying to the Guinness Book of Records claiming he
has sold the most expensive bottle of liquor ever,
following the sale of this gold and platinum bottle
of Tequila Ley .925 that went for $225,000 on July 21, 2006.
